Delicate platinum filigree accents arrange a spray design beneath both the prong-set Mexican fire opal and diamond accents.  Soft colors of green and red play through the opal's perfectly-imperfect orange body tone; a fog of lighter-toned natural gypsum inclusions with penetrating color play is prominently seen through the center of the stone, not dissimilar to a birthmark.
