There's more than meets the eye in this 2.63 carat Lightning Ridge opal ring. First and foremost, the unusual piece of rough material was masterfully interpreted by the cutter; diagonal planes of color intersect in the finished stone, providing two opposing predominant colors that come together depending on the light and viewing angle: red/orange and green/blue. Overtones of yellow and magenta make this piece something truly special, and photos do little justice. Three natural pinpoint inclusions come to the opal's surface.
