Returns Overview
If you aren't in love with your order, we've got your back.
We know that opal jewelry is highly personal. While we do our best to portray each piece as accurately as possible, photographing opal isn't always an easy feat.
We offer a full cash-back refund to your original payment method if an unworn, non-modified item is returned within 14 days of the delivery date shown on the order’s tracking information. Full store credit is offered for returns initiated within 30 days of delivery.
Your return does not need to reach us within the stated timeframe, provided that valid return tracking information is supplied and shows the item was accepted by the mail carrier on or before the applicable return cut-off date. We are not responsible for return shipping costs.
Please contact us before returning an item for shipping instructions. Refunds are processed within five business days of the returned item being received and inspected.
Exemptions
The item must be returned in its original, complete, and unworn condition. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet this standard.
Any minor modification costs (such as ring sizing), if applicable to the transaction, will be deducted from the refunded amount. Modifications that fundamentally alter a piece—such as rhodium plating a yellow gold item or gold plating a white gold item—render the item ineligible for return. Any modification costs are discussed and agreed upon at the time of sale.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without returning the item voids the item's eligibility for return and refund. OpalPop reserves the right to contest such disputes and provide documentation to the payment processor as required.
Additional Considerations
We're people, too! We ask that you please be kind.
We understand that it's never fun to be disappointed. We also know the hassle that return shipping can be. Our job is to keep these instances as few as possible so that you want to come back to us for more.
When we ask the big "why," your honesty means the world to us. It's an opportunity for us to learn how to improve, and it has no impact on the elegibility of your return. Whether you felt that you couldn't properly gauge the size and scale of a piece, if you felt it looked better in the pictures, if the colors or provided measurements were not accurate, it is important to us that we know. Conversely, honest answers such as, "I changed my mind," "I overextended this month," and "personal reasons," are also perfectly valid and acceptable.
