Suspended from an 18-inch solid 14k yellow gold box chain, a vivid 1.03 carat Ethiopian opal is delicately elevated above a softly colored 9.06 carat Peruvian pink opal, creating a layered design that is rarely encountered in fine jewelry. Measuring approximately 1.4 inches long by 0.75 inches wide, the pendant has enough presence to be noticed while maintaining refined, graceful proportions.
The Ethiopian opal displays predominantly red and green play of color with warm yellow overtones and orange undertones that shift as the stone moves through the light. Rather than competing for attention, the pastel-pink Peruvian opal beneath serves as an elegant backdrop, allowing the vibrant fire of the center stone to become the focal point. The result is a harmonious palette of warm gold, soft blush pink, brilliant white diamonds, and living color that feels equally contemporary and timeless.
A total of 58 round brilliant cut diamonds form a delicate pavé frame around the pendant and continue into the bail, lending sparkle without overwhelming the opals themselves. The reverse is thoughtfully finished with a stylized four-petal floral motif, while the bail is laser engraved “CJ” for Cirari Jewels—a subtle hallmark of the maker’s attention to detail. Both the pendant and matching chain are crafted in solid 14k yellow gold.
