An Opal and Diamond Engagement Ring with Platinum Filigree

Make a statement with this 4.83 carat Australian opal ring.  The oval-shaped opal measures over half of an inch long by half of an inch wide on the finger, offering a wide amount of surface area for the subtle reds and greens to play with their pearlescent blue overtones.  Under certain lighting conditions, a natural separation of color is noticed where one half of the stone plays red and the other half green.  Four brilliant cut diamonds are not the only thing that accent this Japanese-crafted platinum mounting; the side gallery of the ring features beautifully intricate cast filigree.
