An Exceptionally Bright Opal & Diamond Ring

Prong-set in 14 karat white gold between four single cut diamonds, the natural Australian light opal plays strong reddish orange and yellow colors over its white body tone, especially in the sunlight.  This estate find was quite well-taken care of by its original owner, with the only material wear being a small chip along the bottom of the opal.  Given the opal's remarkable brightness rating, we were motivated to restore it to its original glory; the chip has been filled, and the rest of the tiny-but-mighty stone was polished to new.  Default ring size 6.50 US.
