Found in an estate collection of early 2010s-Era department store jewelry, this two-tone opal and CZ heart necklace is an echo of a not-so-distant era—one that is quite likely to be no-more.  Where once a generously-sized, solid 10k yellow accent on a sterling silver necklace was considered attainable luxury, rising gold prices make this an option very seldom seen in today's surviving department stores.

One half of the heart has a double-lobe design—the inner lobe is sterling silver, and the outer lobe 10k yellow gold.  On the other side of the heart, an alternating arrangement of five white cubic zirconias and five colorfully-bright lab-created opals glitters in the light.  The pendant measures just under 1 inch long from the top of the bail by just over 0.75 inch wide.
