A Vibrant Green-Blue Lightning Ridge Crystal Opal Solitaire Ring

Handcrafted from platinum in Japan between the late 1940's and early 1960's, this Art Deco-inspired opal solitaire ring plays its brightest in natural sunlight.  Photos do little justice to the delicate, peacock feather-like swirls of green, teal, and dark, pearlescent blue that combine together in the opal's crystal-clear body.  A natural, eye-visible fissure inclusion runs across one quadrant of the opal's edge when viewed from certain angles under certain lights.

Intentionally left in its original, textured condition, the shank of the ring reduces light reflection and attracts more attention to the opal that it holds; the inside of the shank is stamped with its original, pre-1970's Japanese "Pm" platinum hallmark.  Ready for the next era of its life, this piece is perfect for the one who treasures beauty, nature, and history.
