Fit for a smaller-sized finger, this estate find from Winnemucca, Nevada features a large, natural Australian opal that measures an inch in length.  Play-of-color glows across the N8-light body tone in every hue, softly like a butterfly's wing; colors of red and orange are most dominant, complemented by the entire spectrum—secondary blues, greens, and purples in particular contribute to a peacock-like appearance throughout the freeform-shaped opal, especially when viewed in the sunlight.

A unisex solitaire style that can be worn by women or men on a pinky, the sterling silver cocktail ring mounting itself boasts a regal, crown-inspired design.  Beading surrounds the ring's outer bezel, while the spikes of the crown raise to act as aesthetic-forward prongs that protectively hold the edges of the opal in place; epoxy was added by the unknown artist during the setting process to further secure the stone.
