The perfect choice for pinkies or those with dainty fingers, this delicate 10k gold ring is sized just a touch below a US size 5.00.  Its charm is immediately apparent: a glowing green semi-crystal opal—presumed to be from White Cliffs, Australia—comes to life when viewed in the light, further complemented by enchanting blues with reds and oranges that roll along the round opal's edge.

This lively center stone is accented by two Old European Cut diamonds, an antique cut widely popular during the Art Nouveau, Edwardian, and Art Deco periods of the late 19th century and early 20th century.  In classic Art Nouveau fashion, the shoulders of the ring feature nature-inspired accent designs resembling roses, an intentional touch by the unknown, likely-American artist.

Though beautiful, the ring is not perfect—damage resulting from wear is most pertinent along one edge of the opal, a large eye-visible chip apparent when viewing it closely.  Immediately next to this chip, prongs that once held the nearest diamond appear to be missing, likely broken during the same event that impacted the opal.  As a result, the diamond is loose in its setting; it does not appear to be in immediate jeopardy, but no guarantees can be made—the ring is being sold as-is, and we advise wearing it with care.
