An Art Deco-Inspired Lightning Ridge Crystal Opal Ring

Forged from platinum during Japan's post-WW2 platinum jewelry buzz, this elegant 4.78 carat Australian crystal opal ring expresses traditional Western Art Deco elements with Japanese craftsmanship.  Vibrant greens and yellows play against blue undertones in the opal; most breathtaking in natural sunlight, the opal's transluscent body also plays overtones of orange across its polished surface.  0.29 carat of brilliant-cut diamonds line the opal, accenting the platinum filigree mounting.
