Subtle flames of blue glow over this estate 3.75ct Australian boulder opal ring.  Occasional flickers of green make their appearance toward one edge of the horizontally-set stone.  Though the inside of the ring's shank is stamped sterling silver, it tests thoroughly as stainless steel; while this provides an attractive strength bonus, the light wear visible on the ring cannot be polished out as a result.  It is also important to note that because the opal appears to be epoxy-set and not held in place by the flush-set bezel, avoid harsh knocks to the ring or getting it wet so that the epoxy can enjoy a long life.  The sleek, unisex design makes an attractive masculine statement when worn by either men or women.
