A Vintage Pair of Natural Australian Opal Semi-Hoop Earrings

A popular classic of the 1980s and 1990s, opal semi-hoops rarely tend to stick around OpalPop's collection for too long—cast in solid 14k yellow gold, this particular pair features five oval-shaped natural white Australian opals prong-set in each, with each hoop measuring approximately 0.9" from top to bottom.  When viewed closely in the light, subtle colors of red are further complemented by green overtones and soft blue undertones.

Discovered in a New Egypt, New Jersey estate, the earrings have since been professionally cleaned and refurbished by our Southern California partner.  Attributed to 1990s manufacture, the earrings weight a combined total of 2.70 grams, including their backs.

Solid 14k yellow gold butterfly push-backs included.
