A Sterling Silver Opal Doublet Solitaire Necklace with Green Play of Color

Named after the South American Pampas grasslands, the freeform-shaped opal doublet mounted in this vintage solitaire pendant softly glows with gentle, rolling green patches of color—resembling a lush meadow in a soft breeze.  The piece is crafted from sterling silver and measures approximately 1.6 inches in length from the top of its bail.  Discovered in an Eden Prairie, Minnesota estate, the pendant's open, Modernist design is a staple of popular 1980s and 1990s opal jewelry.
