A Handmade Solitaire Opal Ring in Pure Silver with Beachy Vibes

Bring a clear, sunny day at the beach with you wherever you go.

Handmade from a .999 pure silver bar, this simple Australian opal solitaire ring features a hand-cut stone weighing an estimated 2.50cts that gently flashes with glowing primary colors of green and blue over a translucent semi-crystal body.  A delicate-yet-notable feature that isn't well-captured by the camera exists: when tilting the ring and viewing the opal down one of its end edges, soft colors of orange and yellow gently creep over the delicate blue-green body when viewed in the light, giving the impression of the sun setting over the ocean.

Crafted from the raw materials by independent Pennsylvania opal cutter and silversmith, Michael Schaner, the ring has all the charm of one-a-kind jewelry—visual imperfections in the surface of the silver, paired with the natural opal's truly unique character, make the piece ideal for those who value the antithesis of mass-market jewelry: small-batch, at-home American manufacturing.  The raw opal rough was sourced by the artist directly from Australia and cut in his private lapidary studio.
