An Estate Ethiopian Fire Opal Necklace with Halos of Natural Gemstones in Gold Plated Sterling Silver

Discovered in an estate collection of gold plated sterling silver jewelry, this brilliant double-halo style necklace features a colorful suite of natural gemstones.  Set in the innermost halo, closest to the natural Ethiopian fire opal center stone, are 28 round cut diamonds; the real magic comes from the outer halo, which is set with two green peridots, two golden-yellow garnets, four pink topazes, four purple amethysts, and four blue tanzanites.  From the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant, the piece measures just under 1.25 inches long.  Light eye-visible wear can be seen on the surface of the bail.

Original 18” gold plated sterling silver cable-style chain included.
