A High-and-Tall Vintage Opal Cluster Ring

Perhaps the tallest opal cluster ring that one may ever see, this 1950s Mid-Century Modern style piece sits as high as approximately three quarters of an inch above the wearer's finger.  Like many pieces of the era, the 18 karat stamped shank is improperly marked- the piece tests to be 12 karat gold.  Each of the seven white crystal opals appear to be original and in excellent condition.
