An Exceptionally Bright, Enhanced Natural Opal Necklace

For those who long to own the finest natural black crystal opal, though are limited by a budget of hundreds of dollars instead of thousands; handcrafted and signed by jewelry artist, Sam Yah, this sterling silver pendant mounting contributes to the magic behind what makes this piece so special.  By oxidizing the inside of the silver bezel when setting the stone, the set slice of natural, once-white crystal opal now appears black, making subtle color play more prominent.  While this process can improve white crystal and transparent jelly opal, very few stones possess the characteristics necessary to reach the level of color brightness seen in this necklace, even after enhancement.  18 inch sterling silver chain included.
