Discovered in a modern costume jewelry estate, this base metal opal ring is in beautiful condition.  The round, Australian white opal, attributed to the Coober Pedy mining region, plays bright iridescent colors of red, green, and blue when viewed at just the right angles.  Natural eye-visible fissure inclusions can be seen in the stone, like nature's thumbprint.  Tapered baguette cut CZs decorate each side of the opal, channel set above the shank's decorative open filigree design.  Light wear can be seen in the shank's metal—refer to photos for additional detail.  This piece is the perfect opal ring for an opal beginner looking to add something natural and colorful to their jewelry box.
