An Artist-Crafted Two-Stone Boulder Matrix Opal Pendant in Textured Sterling Silver

Designed and hand-fabricated by skilled Big Island of Hawaii jeweler Amy Flanders of Mer Made Designs, this substantial sterling silver pendant makes an immediate statement, measuring over 2.5 inches in total length. Drawing on her background in Southwest design, Flanders gave the piece a distinctly rustic aesthetic, housing two rugged Australian boulder opals within gently darkened, lightly satin-finished bezels.

The focal point is a striking, pear-shaped Koroit boulder matrix opal. Its intricate, earthy ironstone patterning naturally mimics tribal motifs, perfectly complementing the pendant's Southwest-inspired metalwork. Suspended above it, a second boulder opal provides a subtle visual contrast, glowing with a soft purple and blue play-of-color when it catches the light.

Engineered as a versatile unisex piece with undeniable physical presence, the back of the pendant is officially signed "Mer Made Hawaii" to authenticate its island studio origins.
