A Freeform Australian Boulder Opal Ring for Men or Women

Bold, unique, interesting, and maximalist, this truly one-of-a-kind boulder opal ring features a brutalist-style mounting.  Almost organic, like branches cradling the opal, the asymmetrical ring features a sterling silver shank that wraps around the wearer's finger, as well as a gold plated (over sterling silver) base that reaches up to the opal.

While subtle under most conditions, when the light hits this Australian boulder opal just right, the portion with the brown ironstone matrix jumps to life, flashing with vibrant green colors.  Secondary colors of red and blue are also present.  This piece makes the ideal gift or treat for the male or female opal-lover who has a big style and appreciates the rugged, organic imperfection of nature.
