Jacqui | White Australian Pinfire Opal & Tanzanite Ring in 14k Gold

When viewed in the light, subtle pinfire flashes of twinkling green colors flicker across the domed surface of this white Australian opal, like Christmas lights in the distance; these are joined by hints of orange and yellow overtones.  A clustered spray of gentle violet tanzanites surrounds the opal, composed of a tasteful combination of faceted round, oval, and pear-shaped cuts.

Discovered in a Hartford, Connecticut estate and professionally cleaned, polished, and tightened by OpalPop's Southern Californian partner, the 14k gold design is of Chinese manufacture, likely between the 1990s or early 2000s; weighing a lightweight 3.96 grams, the ring brings visual scale in solid gold without incurring the penalty of today's high gold costs too steeply.
