Honeyhive | Ethiopian Opal & Rhodolite Garnet Halo Ring in Sterling Silver

Rolling flashes of red dance across the dark, golden honey-colored body of the natural Ethiopian opal mounted in this garnet-accented silver ring.  Subtle green overtones further add to the high-domed opal's allure, most particularly making their appearance when the ring viewed in the light.  The 18 faceted round purple rhodolite garnets form a bowtie-like halo design around the center opal, aiding the eye in adjusting to the opal's warm-playing colors.

A hefty 4.39 grams in weight, the solid sterling silver ring has been rhodim plated to discourage the precious metal from tarnishing quickly.  The inside of the ring's shank is stamped "SAM", likely attributable to jewelry designer, Samuel Benham.
