An Antique Opal & Pink Sapphire Ring

The sizeable Coober Pedy opal in this completely original Art Nouveau throwback measures just under half of an inch in length, glowing softly with green and blue flames over a traditional white body tone.  Common for turn of the 20th century era but very seldom seen today, the white metal heads holding two pink sapphires are made from the rare precious metal, palladium; the inside of the ring's shank is hallmarked as such.
