A Vintage Pair of Australian White Opal Earrings with Leverback Dangles

Cast and assembled from solid 10k yellow gold, this pair of 1990s-Era dangle earrings feature natural Australian light opals sourced from the Coober Pedy Opal Fields.  The opals play very subtly; soft pinfire colors of blue, green, and red emanate from the near-white opals when viewed closely in the light.

From the top of their leverbacks to the bottom of the gold dangles, the earrings measure just a touch over 1.33 inches long.  The wires are bent slightly as the result of thier past life, but they fit securely back into their hinged housing.  Together, the earrings weigh 2.84 grams—just enough to be noticed, but not enough to cause the ear fatigue.
